KUNMING, China, November 30, 2009—China Shenghuo Pharmaceutical Holdings, Inc. (Amex: KUN – News: “China Shenghuo” or the “Company”), which is engaged in the research, development, manufacture, and marketing of pharmaceutical, nutritional supplement and cosmetic products in the People’s Republic of China.

On November 20, 2009, Mr. David Brown, the head of U.S. Consulate General in Chengdu, China made his visit to China Shenghuo, in responding to the U.S. President Barack Obama’s first state visit to China during his presidency. Chairman of China Shenghuo, Mr. Gui Hualan, accompanying with President Feng Lan, as well as other managements attended the meeting. Chairman Lan expressed his warm welcome to General Consul Mr. David Brown’s visit to China shenghuo and wished him a happy visit to Kunming. During the meeting, Mr. David Brown and Chairman Lan exchanged their views and points in several issues between each other in regarding to China Shenghuo’s operation and its development. Through this meeting, China Shenghuo is better known to Mr. David Brown after he got the answers to those questions he had proposed to Chairman Lan in respects of what products the Company produced, how did it distribute the products throughout China as well as the global markets, how could the Company protect itself from infringement by various patent rights it held for its flagship product- Lixuwang Brand Xuesaitong Soft Capsules as well as other products; Chairman Lan also gave a brief introduction to the experiences he had learnt from the U.S. capital market through the past three years with regard to China Shenghuo’s status as a public company with its securities traded on a U.S. national exchange. In the end, Chairman Lan pointed out the future development projects of China Shenghuo in the next few years to Mr. David Brown.

At the end of this meeting, Chairman Lan also expressed his concern on visa problem as many U.S. listed-Chinese companies had encountered in the past, and Mr. David Brown made his answer to this question which could be reasonably accepted by Chairman Lan.
